A small site with a small data footprint

Privacy policy

This draft describes the functionality included in this build. It requires owner review against the final hosting, contact, and account setup before public launch.

Prepared October 5, 2026 · Preview; owner approval pending

What is—and is not—installed

This version does not include visitor accounts, comments, newsletter signup, embedded social feeds, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics scripts. Fonts are provided by your device rather than fetched from a third-party font service. There is no active contact submission form.

The absence of those features does not mean a web request is anonymous. A hosting or security provider can process request information such as an IP address, browser information, requested page, and timestamps to deliver and protect the service. The owner must verify the final provider settings before launch.

Measurements and calculator inputs

The fit checker and cost-per-use calculator process your inputs in your browser. Their code does not send those values to Purseland or store them. Closing or reloading the page clears the tool’s in-memory state, subject to your own browser’s form-restoration behavior.

Optional checklist storage

The checklist stays in memory unless you choose “Save on this device.” That button writes the item names and checkbox states to local storage under the key purseland:carry-checklist:v1. It does not create an account or send the list to a server. Saved data remains until you delete it, clear site data, or your browser removes it.

The saved list is loaded when you return using the same browser profile and site origin. “Delete saved copy” removes that local entry; the on-screen list remains until you leave or clear it. Other people using the same browser profile may see the list. Do not enter sensitive identifiers or document numbers.

Hosting and service providers

Cloudflare serves the public preview, and GitHub stores the site repository and runs build checks. Each provider has its own privacy and security practices. Any additional service, security cookie, analytics setting, or contact provider must be reflected in this notice before it is enabled on the live site.

External and affiliate links

When an external or paid link is activated and you follow it, the destination website handles your visit under its own policies. An affiliate link can identify Purseland to Amazon through the public tracking tag purselandstor-20. This site does not itself set an Amazon advertising cookie; Amazon may use its own systems after you leave Purseland. Review the destination’s policies before providing information there.

Messages and privacy questions

Use the public email address on our contact page for questions about this site or its data handling. The owner has selected and tested a Gmail inbox. Email you choose to send, including your address, message, and attachments, is handled by the email services involved. Clicking the email link opens your email application; the website does not submit a message for you.

Before public launch, the owner must confirm message handling, retention, and any applicable privacy-request process. This draft does not promise an unverified retention period or response time. Do not send passwords, payment information, or identity documents.
