Accuracy before persuasion

Shopping guidance, not a product-research service

Purseland explains what shoppers can look for and check themselves. We do not carry out extensive research or hands-on testing of individual bags sold on Amazon, and we do not present the site as an independent product-testing operation.

Shoppers should check the exact listing, buyer reviews, seller details, and current terms before purchasing. That does not remove our responsibility for the accuracy of our own content or the disclosure of commercial relationships.

No experience we did not have

We do not claim to have bought, worn, measured, compared, authenticated, or tested a product unless that activity actually happened and can be described. We do not create fictitious authors, credentials, laboratories, quotations, reviews, or testimonials. General buying guidance is not presented as a hands-on product review; an estimate is labeled as an estimate.

Descriptions and their limits

If we include a product specification, it should be attributed to the exact brand or retailer listing that supports it. Repeating a listing is not independent verification. Missing or unclear details remain unverified, and an unsupported claim should be omitted rather than made more persuasive.

We do not infer authenticity, safety, protection, durability, or performance from a product name, photo, seller, or commission opportunity. Readers should be able to distinguish our general advice from information supplied by a seller.

Commercial relationships are visible

Affiliate links and paid placements must be clearly identified where readers encounter them. Paid relationships cannot buy a positive verdict or an undisclosed place in an editorial ranking. Free samples, discounts, sponsorships, and other material connections should be disclosed with the relevant content. Advertising must be distinguishable from editorial material.

AI assistance does not establish product experience

AI may help draft and organize guidance, develop tools, and edit presentation. The site owner remains responsible for reviewing public content and checking externally verifiable claims. An AI-generated statement is not a source. Generated images must not imply a real product trial or an actual photographed event.

Product mentions are not tested verdicts

When products are included, explain what the selection or comparison is based on. A comparison of listed features must not be described as our own product testing, authentication, or a comprehensive market assessment. Do not label a selection “best” or “tested” without an appropriate basis.

Do not copy retailer star ratings into our own rating system, invent review scores, or add structured review data that claims a review we have not performed.

Corrections and meaningful dates

Readers may flag errors through the contact page. Review the relevant evidence, correct confirmed material errors, and add a clear correction note when the change affects the substance of an article. Dates represent actual preparation or substantive review, not an automated freshness tactic.
